The Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (GAMC) in Viareggio is housed in the 19th-century Palazzo delle Muse and features over 3,000 works of art, including a significant collection of pieces by European masters of the 20th century and 85 works by the local artist Lorenzo Viani.
