LITFIBA “Quarant’anni di 17Re – Tour 2026” Piero Pelù – Ghigo Renzulli – Antonio Aiazzi – Gianni Maroccolo In 2026, LITFIBA will return to the stage with the original lineup from the '80s for a tour of 20 dates across Italy to celebrate the forty years of “17 Re”, the album that marked a turning point in Italian rock and established the Florentine band at a national and European level. The double album “17 Re” (the first in the Italian new wave), the second episode of a trilogy that today sounds very relevant dedicated to the victims of power, with its bold and experimental formula still expresses a rare strength capable of crossing generations. “Quarant’anni di 17 Re” – Tour 2026, this is the name of the project that will bring together on the same stage Piero Pelù, Ghigo Renzulli, Antonio Aiazzi, and Gianni Maroccolo to bring back to life the emotions, power, energy, and visionary and anticipatory poetry of one of the most beloved chapters in the history of European rock. Released in 1986 as a double album (only in France was it released as a single album) and still considered by many as the stylistic masterpiece of LITFIBA from the '80s, “17 Re” is part of the so-called Trilogy of the victims of power along with “Desaparecido” and “Litfiba 3”. “17 Re” consists of 16 tracks and takes its title from what was supposed to be the title track, namely “17 Re”, but the track was not released as it was deemed unconvincing and musically not up to par with the others on the album (the lyrics are partly printed inside the album cover). The “Quarant’anni di 17 Re” tour will touch some of the most important cities and festivals in Italy in a schedule that will exclusively span the summer of 2026 from June to August. These 20 dates will be a unique opportunity to hear live the songs from that legendary album played like never before in history, along with the great classics that have marked the band's career.
